    of silk, fancy handkerchiefs, mirrors for hand use, table cloths, cutlery, pins, brooches, brushes, combs and various small religious articles.
    Other "pedlars" went about selling large framed holy pictures, small religious statues and various objects of piety. The majority of these travelling folk stayed in one particular house in the district where they received free lodging for a few nights until all their goods were disposed of. They were always very welcome guests eating at the same table,
