    and they supported him free giving him every kindness that they could possibly bestow on him. The people always had great respect for their priests and teachers. Mr O'Reilly remained for two years there. The pupils contributed two pence per week and the poorer ones gave a penny. The subjects that had been taught were Arithmetic, writing, Latin and Irish.
