    In your thousands now assemble
    To obey the bold command
    Around the country every man
    That tills a perch of land
    And all round Granard too
    Those heroes of renown
    We'll meet the brave Ballymahon boys
    Along with Edgeworthstown.
    While bands and runners in the breeze
    It will be a glorious sight
    Old Ireland for the Irishmen
    Hurrah for tenant right

    The Almighty Hand did make the land
    For the letters of the soil
    So here today it is now we ill say
    We'll keep our own green isle
    Its only vain for to complain
    No more we 'ill sigh or moan
    For what we want we 'ill have to get
    Its first we 'ill hold our own
    Its now we 'ill hold our harvest
