- There lived a girl in Ardagh, who was very rich. She got very ill and she died. So her friends buried her with gold rings on her fingers. So when they had her buried, that night a man went and dug up the grave. He could not get the rings off her fingers because her hand was swollen and he cut her fingers with a knife trying to get the rings from her. He drew the blood and the girl got alive again. Her people were delighted so she lived many years after.
