  1. There were six men digging potatoes in a field one day. At dinner time the went over to a corner, of a field to eat their dinner, six little women came out of the fort with aprons on them. The little women began to pick the potatoes and put them in their aprons. The men were too frightened to speak, but in ten minutes the little women, disappeared into the fort. When the men had their dinner eaten, they went back to the place where they were digging. What should they see but not a potato was missing.
