    Some people out side the townsland came to Kilcomack and said the would not believe the stones were thrown by an unseen hand, and the stones arose up from round their feet and went up in the air and fell down around them again. One old goose was struck with a stone and she flew up several yards in the air and came down again and went to drink in a stream near by as if nothing had happened her. The stones were about one pound weight. People came from all districts during those days everyone wondering what was happening and no one could say only that it was no living being that was throwing the stones
