- There was a church on the land of Mr Patrick Galvin of Aughafan, (?) Parish of Millane. A little hill there is still called Church Hill and another Hill near at hand is called the Munster. Some people say that there was a Mainistir there which would account for the present name. Human bones are often found by farmers tilling the land there showing that the Cemetery was near it.
