  1. Johnson's Pool.
    In the year 1014 when Brian Boruna was driving the Danes from Ireland some to them in their flight dropped a lot of gold which they had plundered.
    One of the Danish lords in flight is supposed to have dropped a sack of Gold into Johnson's Pool situated in Coosan. The Pool is supposed to be guarded + a cock which when crowing is supposed to say:-
    "He who gold in this pool shall seen
    "Surely here his death shall meet.
    Many men have tried to find this pool but all have failed. One night a man who was searching for it came to a certain part of the road + found he could not pass.
