  1. On the land of Mr. J. Sweeny, Clonbrusk, there stands a large rock. It is situated on top of a hill and is lying on four or five smaller rocks. Beside it is another rock, standing up straight on its side.
    The general belief is that it was used by the Druids as an altar.
    The stone is partly on a slant and is very slippy. There are a lot of cracks and crevices in it also.
