    There is an old story told about the Leipreachán. One day an old woman went to collect sticks, and she caught a Leipreachán. He was mending shoes in a glen. She asked him for his gold. He told her that the gold was under the stone in front of her door. She did not believe him, (him) so she carried him in her apron to the place where he told her the gold was. When they came to the top of the hill in front of her house he shouted "O murder, Look, your house is on fire."
