    About eighty years ago Tom Carbery lived in Boher.

    About eighty years ago Tom Carbery lived in Boher. Another man known as "Jack the Dodger" bet with him that he would pull the sheet from under him in the bed.
    They appointed a certain night to put it to the test. On that night Jack the Dodger had a "rag man" made ready. Tom Carbery on that night kept a loaded gun ready by his bedside.
    The Dodger put the rag man outside the bed room window. On seeing it, Tom Carberry fired and knocked it down. He then ran out to bury the corpse as he did so Jack the Dodger slipped in the window. Carberrys wife was in bed. The Dodger began to steal the sheet from under her. She thought
