“Once there was a man who used to go to play cards every night...”
Once there was a man who used to go to play cards every night and he used to have to pass through Rathconnell graveyard. One night as he was going home a man put on a bet that he would frighten him. There was a grave open for a man that was gong to be burried next day. He got a sheet and rolled himself in it. When the man was coming he went down into the grave and began shouting and moaning. The man said "A you poor lad they put you in without covering you" so he started putting the clay in on top of him.
