  1. There is a well in Moyleroe and the water in it cures the rose. You have to go to the well once a week and bring a bottle of the water home each time. You carry the bottle home in you left hand and if you look behind you the water is no good. You keep the cork in the bottle for a certain number of days You bathe your hand in the water each night until the rose is gone. Matthew Casserly cures ring worm. The way he cures it is he makes the sign of the cross over your hand three times a week and a week the ring-worm withers away. He is the seventh son and he got the cure from his father.
