- This story is told down from my great grandfather about an ould man named Paddy Cully who went by the name of Humpy Paddy. Every Sunday night he used to go to the town and get drunk. One night he was coming home from Maypole drunk and he came across Robinstown by the fairies fort. He was shouting and cheering and singing and the fairies heard him and brought him in to the fort. One said to the other, "What will we do with him." They said "we will take the hump off him and sind him home."
