Billie started off to ask his daughter who lived in Dublin for a shilling, in his bare feet. The girl was so ashamed of him that she gave him four shillings and hunted him. Home Billie came and was happy for a long time.
He died in Delvin Hospital and is buried in Fore. His son. who is dead also, was a famous tailor, but he did not possess the gift of poetry like Billie.
