    for getting diseases and remedes cured. There is a weed which grows in the bog, and the leaf of it is something like the leaf of a fern and it has the cure of a sore chin. It can be cured by rubbing it on the chin five times. If you did not use it on a Friday you would not have the cure. Long ago people would not get married in green and pink colours for it was considered very unlucky to wear green or pink when a marriage would take place on a Monday.
    In olden times people would not move from their old residence to a new house on Saturday for it was considered unlucky as the proverb sats "Saturdays flitting makes a short sitting". The races of "Cresley" - which is in my district is noted to be always wet. No matter what day it takes place on that day is nearly always a wet day and if not wet it always rains some heavy showers. There is also certain days of geting the cure of the running worm. The days of getting this disease cured is Monday and Thursday and
