    3. Myles O'Reilly, otherwise known as Myles the 'Slasher' was one of our greatest local heroes. He once fought a great battle on the Bridge of Finea in the year 1646. There was a great memorial erected in the village to perpetuate his memory. His people lived in Ross Castle and they did not want him to go to the fight, so,
