    They would play a lot of games at the Wakes, such as "The Cobbler and the Tinker". "How did the market rate today". "Hurry the brog". "Making nails". "The innocent lamb". "The cow with the crumbled horns". and a lot of others
    The way they used to play "Hurry the brog" is they sit down in a ring, they get a rope about two feet long and put a large knot at one end of it. Then one of the boys would stand up in the middle and one would get the rope and sing the rhyme:
    "Here is the brog and here is the slipper:
    "And I am the boy that will give you your supper"
    "Tinker hill and Tullamore"
