    medicine made of herbs and oil, and for bone-setting he was very successful. He was know to cure a bleeding on the nose by standing before the person and saying some prayers.

  2. The many cures of the old people are of very much use to the people of nowadays.
    One particular cure of theirs was the cure of a bleeding nose or mouth. There was a prayer to be said for this. This is the prayer "Jesus was born in Bethleham Baptised in the river Jordan the river ran clear the river ran blood by the holy name of Jesus the river stood Amen." Once this prayer was said, the nose or mouth immediately stopped bleeding.
