    "The River Field" got its name from a river that flows through it.
    "Sruthain Bhaile" got its name from a little town that was in it long ago.
    "Madam's Field" got its name from an old Lady that lived in it long ago.

  2. There is a field around my house in Newstone, Drumconrath called the Poll Mór. It is called that because there is a big pool of water in the middle of it.
    "Gallows Hill".It is called that because there is a tree in the middle of the field
