  2. 1. No Kells person would ever prosper in Kells but he would succeed in any other town or city. Strangers would come and settle in Kells and succeed there.
    2. Industries would be started but they would all prove failures.
    3. A time would come when the people would not know the difference between summer and winter except that the grass would be green.
    4. A family named Kelly of Carlanstown had some difference with a priest. St. Columba foretold that a time would come when not one of the family would be left.
    5. Cars would travel without horses.
    6. Trains would run on roads.
    7. Ships would travel in the air.
    8. John Street in Kells would flow with blood This came to pass in the time of Cromwell.
