- The "Leganassy" is a field situated at the top of Oldbridge hill beside Patrick McGuinness's house. Long ago it was noted for the good corn that was grown in it. Men had to start work at sunrise and they worked until sunset.

- The Strait. This field is on Mr. Tiernan's farm at Oldbridge. People think it is so called because it always yielded a good meadow.
- The Boyne Meadow. This field is on Mr. Coddington's farm at Oldbridge. It is so called because it is along the Boyne, and when there is a high tide the river flows into it, and some of the water lodges in it for a time.
