When the wind blows from the South East it is a very showery point, but if it blows from the East for twenty four hours without rain you may have a few weeks good weather.
If you hear foxes barking at night it is the sign of a storm.
If you see streaks or hairs, or the sun going down red behind a black cloud it is a sure sign or rain. - When there are sparks on a pot it denotes rain.
