  1. Long ago my Grand Aunt used to make toys.
She used to make dolls out of rags, and out of straw and sew them, and stick, them with putty.
When she would have it shaped she would dress it.
She used to make whips from rushes, and plait them and when she would have them plaited, she would put a stick to the end of it.
She also made hair bands, out of her own hair, and when she would get it cut, she would plait it, and wear it round her hair.
She made a lantern out of turnips, scoop a hole in the middle, and put a candle in the centre, then make two holes, and put a cord through the holes.
