    People say that if the water in which the feet are washed at night, be -kept- in during the night, that it puts three nails in the coffins of those who washed with it.
    Jackdaws, magpies and wagtails are 'unlucky' birds. Tis lucky to meet a woman called Mary when going on a journey; to the market etc.
