    Long ago it was a custom for the young people to have a dance at the cross roads, light bonfires, and play games.
    On the Ardee road near Readypenny cross there is a cross put up in memory of a man who was killed there quite recently within a stone's throw from his own door.
    At Martincross there is a stone put up in memory of a young man who was killed there by a fall from a load of hay.
    There are only about Mass Paths, and I will explain about them later.
