There are no stories that I heard about pigs, or customs, but it is a custom to put the sign of the cross on the goats back and say "God bless you kiddie" when finished milking her.
The calls for the various kinds of animals are when calling the pigs we say "gush gush gush" when calling the goat we say "kiddie, kiddie, kiddie".
