  1. Proverbs.
    Learning is no load.
    Beware of the deceiver.
    One good turn deserves another.
    Many hands make light work.
Always taking out of the meal bag and never putting in soon comes to the bottom.
Many a slip between the cup and the lip.
    First deserve and then desire.
Friends are plenty when the purse is full.
    Delays are dangerous.
Cut your coat according to your cloth.
Better are small fish than none.
    Barking dogs seldom bite.
A friend in need is a friend indeed.
    Evil beginnings have bad endings.
Poor folks' friends soon forget them.
    No rose without a thorn.
    Let sleeping dogs lie.
The longest way around is the shortest way home.
