    There was a woman one time named Petticoat Loose.

    When he was telling her father about it they all rushed for weapons to kill him. He put up his hand and said, "Please, allow me to tell you. Would you know her had-writing"? "Yes", the father said, "dead or alive I would know it." He handed him the bit of a note. "yes," the father said "that is her writing." In the note was that she was damned for beating her father and mother and for killing her own baby.
    So she was at the lough for long after, and she was trying to kill every one that passed the way.
    The parish Priest came to her and questioned her. He said to her, "you will have to go to the Red Sea until Monday." People say they saw her putting up her head every Monday, and saying "Long Monday, Long Monday, Long Monday".
