  1. There is an old ruins of a castle in the district it is said that the Danes built it about three hundred years ago. It is said that they were a battle fought there. Long ago they were rooms in it but they are no rooms in it now they were knocked down about a hundred years ago it was knocked down. This castle is in the townsland of Cullohill parish of Borrisoleigh Co. Tipperary. They were a lot of old ruins in the district they are old churchyards in Killamoyne but they are no sign of it, you could see the graves yet long ago it is said that a man dug it up and he got a lot of bones in the ground.
