- There are one Giant in my district & his name is John Ryan the Giant he lived in Foilnamon. Borrisolgeih. Co Tipperary This man lives on the top of a mountain. There is a bog called after him it is called the Giants bog, Where all the people cut turf There were warrior's long ago, and they used to fight each other. And this Giant used to stand untop of a mountain and hurl a big stone down to the bottom. They were huge big men that is why they are called Ginats. They used Old[?] hag's live in my district long ago they used to live in cabens & caves(continues on next page)
