    Churchyard.
    There is a very old Churchyard situated about two miles from Adare. It is called Droicead Trasna Churchyard. There was once a Catholic Church there and it is supposed to be the Church of Saint Nicholas. The ruins still remain in the centre. It is on the top of a hill. There are many headstones of various shapes, square, round and crosses. There is one big one in particular. It bears the names of three boys and three girls all of one family that died in one week in the year 1922.
