No.1 Long ago, in Feenagh it was the custom for the bride and bridegroom to go to the chapel in different cars and come home together in the same car
No.2 It was also the custom for invited guests to race home on horseback from the chapel.
No.3 It was believed unlucky to get married on a Monday or Friday.
No.4 On the night of the wedding feast some boys gathered at an appointed place with a sugan of straw round their waist and then used proceed to the house. It was their captains duty to go in first and dance with the bride.
