  1. Local travelling folk.
    Many travelling people visit Feenagh still and they stay for some time. Many usually sell small articles such as studs, clothes-brushes, socks and stockings laces, reels of thread etc. and they get good sale for them. Some travel on foot and more travel in caravans drawn by donkeys. Some sell no goods but work such crafts as chimney-sweeping and putting bottoms on vessels and flower making. These travellers travel far and can tell many stories and yarns of other people and places. The most well known of them are James Keefe, Patrick Madigan, Harry O'Brien, Patrick Quilligan and Patrick Hourigan. There are also many there who visit Feenagh and go
