    was sick and tired, the chieftain sent for his coach and took Tom to the palace. Tom stayed with the chieftain for a few days, after that the got his three crocks of gold. Then Tom went away and after a few day came to Carrickerry and he told all the neighbour about the old castle and the three nights he had spent in it. From that day he put down a fine time having nothing to do and had plenty of money. He use to go to see the chieftain now and again, and he had it to say he was the only man who ever stayed in the castle for three nights after each other.
