   Many years ago, when people had no clocks, and did not know the exact time, except by the moon and stars, they were very often out at the dead of night, thinking that it was morning. One night, an old man and his son, who resided at Templeglantine, set out for the fair of Castleisland. They went to bed very early, and awoke some time about mid-night.
