  1. In the parish where I am living is a white horse painted on a rock in memory of a lady and a white horse that was killed there one day long ago. This lady was killed when she was following the hounds it is near Ballea Bridge. This lady came very fast on the white horse and jumped off the rock and was smashed to pieces.
Near that white horse there is a cross in memory of a man that was killed by a tree. One night it was very wild this man was passing along when the tree fell on him and killed him.
Then a cross was cut out on a stone where an old lady dropped dead some time ago. One day she was coming to the village about eleven o'clock and as she passed this lane she dropped dead.
