    It is said that the seventh son of the family has wonderful cures. The seventh daughter has this power also.
    A head ache is cured by putting a stiff cloth around the head.
    If a person is going to get consumption he drinks castor oil.
    To cure a boil long ago pig dung was put to it but this custom has died out.
    Long ago corns were cured by putting wet bread to them. Sometimes this is done today.
    A cut was cured by putting it into a cup of animal’s water.
    If the hair is falling off the cure for it was to wear no hat.
    The remedies long ago were better than the bottles and remedies of today.
    There is a herb growing quarries called the Blessed
