The cure for a toothache is to put a frog into ones mouth and it is believed that you would never get sore teeth or any other ailment of the teeth.
Sore hands or chapped hands are cured with cream or sulphur ointment.
Sore eyes or bad sight is cured with the water of St. Mochtu’s Holy Well.
Cripples who are brought to St. Fanahan’s Holy Well are cured at once.
Deafness and dumbness are also cured with the water of this Holy Well.
Ringworm is cured by putting tar to or even by putting lime to it.
