    My Home District is Knockanevin, Kilfinane, Co. Cork. It is in the parish of Kildorrery and it is in the barony of Condons and Clongibbons.
    How my home district got its name was the hill of the western side of Knockanevin was very pleasant looking.
    The number of families in the district is sixteen. The approximate number of people is seventy.
    Hennessey is the most common name in the district. These Hennesseys are not related to each other.
