hurling, football, blind-man’s-buff, four corners, marbles, hide and seek, and hand ball.The games that boys play are different to those the girls play.Blind-man’s-buff is very enjoyable. It is an indoor game and is played by young and old. It is played in winter in the long cold and dreary nights. This is how it was played. A handkerchief is put around a person’s eyes. Then the followers run around while the blindfolded person tries to catch them. Great is the occasion and excitement when the blindfolded person catches one of them. Then that person takes the blindfold and act as before.Four corners is a very amusing game. It is played by the younger(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
