  1. Weather - Lore.
    There are many signs of the weather such as. - If the sun is very red when it is going down in the evening it is a sign of good weather. If the sun is very hot in the middle of the day it is a sign of rain.
    If the day clouds are very black it is a sign of rain. If the clouds seem to be going very fast it is a sign of rain.
    If there is a rainbow in the sky in the morning it is a sign of rain. If there is a rainbow in the sky in the evening and if it goes away very fast it is a sign of good weather.
    When the crows are flying low in the air it is a sign of rain.
    If the crows come back again just after they have left in the morning it is a sign of rain. If the cuckoo is singing in March it is a sign of bad weather. When the robin comes to the door it is a sign of snow. If the foxes bark much in October it is a sign of snow. When the badgers are fat in October it is a sign of cold weather.
    If the cat stays near the fire it is a sign of rain. If the dog comes to the door in the morning wagging his tail it is a sign of rain. If the sky is very red it is a sign of good weather. If the sky is very black it is a sign of rain. If the hills seem to be very near it is a sign of rain.
