    No woodland surroundings still better
    Where Reynord so peaceful will lay.
    Till woke by the sounds of the horn or that shouts
    Tally ho' gone away,
    As the music of hounds through the fern will ring,
    Sure I've heard it so many a time
    But Reynord by then is in Sullivans glen,
    Where the Katra flows down to Ardine.

    The castle now worn and battered
    Stood the shells of the enemies hands,
    Three hundred long years passed over,
    Since Cromwell invaded the land,
    Twas Magner he came for to Capture,
    But fortune just took him in time.
    He was far out in France
    When the Cannons roared loud,
    Where the Katra flows down to Ardine.

    There's the Rectory we mus'tent forget it,
    For its splendour you cannot surpass,
    Close by stands the church and the churchyard
    Just kneel their and pay when you pass
    And no sound then will ever disturb you
    Save the Angelus when itwill chime,
    As its soft peal's you'll hear reaching so clear,
