    they said it would cost too much money to change the tickets and printing connected with the station but their real reason was that they were mostly Englishmen and they would not commemorate an Irish patriot. The present government have again changed the name of the Post Office in Lombardstown to Gortmalughra but the station is still called Lombardstown.
