    The bride and bridegroom meet at the church before they are married, and after they have been married they take the bride to her new home, and it is called "hauling home".
    Long ago the friends at the wedding raced each other home on horseback and the wives on horse back with their husbands but they do not do it now, because it is in motor cars they go home.
