    Mr. Thomas Hartnett of Kilbrin, Kanturk was a great dancer. The dances he usually did were step dances.

    "Sean [?]" a native of Kanturk left Kanturk at six o'clock; and walked all the way; and arrived at Killarney at eleven o'clock, a distance of over thirty miles. He was also a great swimmer and diver. It is said that he jumped off Kanturk
