    Another famous man was named Brennan who could catch a hare by running after it. This man was a native of Newmarket; and was a blacksmith.

  2. There was a man born near Liscarroll, County Cork. Baetuis Mac Aodagáin was his name. He became bishop, and he marched against Cromwell, but he was captured at Macroom and was hanged there.
    William OBrien was the only man who threw a sledge over Liscarroll castle.
    OConnell of Kilbrin won great fame at Kilbrin when the sports were held there last year. He jumped over six feet high, and the onlookers gave a great cheer, and praised him very much, because he had many opponents.
