    I am satisfied to die
    For I expect a just reward
    Of murder I am innocent
    And the Crown knows that right well
    They often tried to bribe me in my lonely prison cell

    To gratify the vengeance
    Of a hateful English clan
    For I was born a gentleman
    And fearlessly will die
    So name the day when all can say
    No coward's hearth had I
    That modern Judge Norbury
    Put on the accursed black cap
    Saying on the 9th of February
    You'll die beneath the trap
    But another Judge was looking on
    Who promised this poor boy
    Should join the Angles and the Saints
    I am thinking though I know not
    When the Angels call the roll
    With the martys bearing branches
