    A story is told of a poor man when very hungry before going to the Protestant church for soup, paid a visit to the Catholic church and standing at the door and looking very mournfully at the Altar was heard to say "Goodbye Almighty God until the praties will grow again."

    I heard a story about a woman. All the hunger never weakened her faith she never missed Sunday mass. In the finish she was not able to walk there and she crawled on her face and hands and she died in front of the altar
