- There are two kinds of travelling folk. They are called tinkers and beggars.
For many years the tinkers and beggars call to the houses in this locality. Many of them are poor and others of them are not so badly off.
Many of them call regularly and others only call once. The tinkers sell tin-saucepans, and pans, and they fix milk tanks, and umbrellas.
They also sell holy objects and holy pictures. These beggars, and tinkers are called "Pedlars". They get those things in the cities.
They stay in certain houses in this locality. Many of them look for alms, and meat, and eggs, and flour, meal,(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
